2015 Bowen to Collinsville RollaCoaster Bike Ride 2015 Another successful year in fundraising much needed funds for Cancer Research. This year the event raised $18k of which $5k was donated to Tour de Cure and $13k to Cancer Council QLD. Russell and Therese are very committed to raising much needed funds for Cancer Research and continue to do a fantastic job in organising and participating in this event.
Bowen Collinsville Business Awards Night 2015 Congratulations to our valued employees Byron Maltby, Les Storey and Matthew Trewin for being nominated for awards. Both Byron and Les were nominated by Russell and Therese for ‘Employee of the Year’ and Matthew was nominated by Torgas for ‘Apprentice of the Year’. Although no one took home an award at the end of the night, it certainly hasn’t diminished their continued dedication or good spirit. Well done boys!
Bowen State School Iconic Space Rocket Restored Supporting our Community - Keeping kids safe in the playground RTM Engineering and Bowen Industrial Hire worked together at the beginning of this year in restoring the iconic Space Rocket back to its former glory at Bowen State School. The Space Rocket, has been a part of the school for many years and holds many fond memories for a lot of the local community. It is truly amazing to see the old Space Rocket still standing and back to its former glory once again. RTM received a beautiful thank you note from the year six students, which is on display in the RTM Administration Office. RTM would like to thank everyone for their donations in ‘Help Save our Rocket’.
2014 Supporting Our Community Bowen to Collinsville RollaCoaster Bike Ride 23rd & 24th August 2014 This year marked the 25th year of riding the RollaCoaster. It was a huge success raising over $20 000 for Cancer research. Russell and Therese continue to be proud sponsors of this bike ride and remain very active members of the organising committee. This year’s two day bike ride was a tremendous fundraising event, raising over $28k for Leukaemia Awareness. Russell and Therese are active members of the bike ride Organising Committee and continue to be committed to raising money for this great event each year.
